Sir definitely did his thing on this album. I loved the mix of his gospel influence and hip hop vibes. I appreciate that he has a message and delivers it in a form that everyone can consume and spark conversation. This album is like Kanye’s Jesus Walks of 2017. It beautifully blends the gospel with mainstream hip hop flare. You can hear and feel Sirs’ passion and determination with each track to get people to listen and pay attention. The album also has some dope features made by Michelle Williams (former member of Destiny’s Child) and Brandy. Both artists are featured on two tracks that are on my top track list for this album. The top tracks are Southern Belle, Good Ole Church Girl, and Heaven.
Check out Saint or Sinner by Sir the Baptist, if you don’t, you are playing yourself. The album is available on Tidal, iTunes, and Spotify.
